Lost River Outfitter guide and camp counselor Frank Smith high-fives two fishing campers after a fun day in 2018.

It’s the next chapter in kids learning about fishing. And it continues for Lost River Outfitters’ 2019 kids summer fishing camp.

This year’s camp takes place between June 14 and Aug. 30 for ages 7-13.

Lost River requires three sign-ups per day to hold the daily camp, which runs Monday through Friday.

Each session is four hours long (9 a.m.-1 p.m.) and costs $92.50 per day per child.

If parents sign up three kids together, Lost River will hold a special camp during any day of the week. The age limit will stay the same.

Children will also be provided with free gear and flies.

“We have fun young enthusiastic camp instructors who keep the children safe,” said Lost River Outfitters guide manager Susanne Conner.

Camp attendees will learn wading safety, casting, streamside etiquette, how to release fish.

Kids must bring sunglasses, a snack, sunscreen, a hat, a good attitude, correct clothing for weather and fishing gear if owned.

Dogs are not permitted to attend with children. Parents are also not allowed.

Reservations are required. Sign up two days in advance because slots fill up quickly.
