From the beach to Broadway, Camp Big Wood brings variety to keep kids active and engaged all summer long.
Located at the Big Wood School on Saddle Road in Ketchum, the camp caters to younger children, offering full and half days for anyone between 18 months and 5 years old.
Each week takes on a different theme, including Wild Wild West, X Games, Gone Camping and Sun Valley Summer, to name a few.
“We have an amazing summer in store for our little campers at Camp Big Wood,” Director Kim Piggins said of the 2019 program.
“We have incorporated some new themes, added some new awesome outings and field trips to our already jam-packed, fun-filled daily schedule and have a terrific staff lined up to spend the sunny Sun Valley days playing and frolicking together in nature’s playground.”
Scheduling is flexible. Kids can come as few as two mornings per week, or as many as five. There are 11 sessions in all, beginning on June 10 and ending on Aug. 23.
Prices vary with schedules. A week of five half days costs $200, and a week of full days runs $350, with discounts for monthly campers and siblings. Space is limited. For more information, or to register a child, go to bigwoodschool.com/summercamp or call 208-726-9053.
