Sun Valley Ski Education Racer Finnigan Donley got off to a good start at the U.S. Alpine National Championships, finishing fifth in the Sunday Super G before collecting U.S. Ski and Snowboard Rookie of the Year honors.

Several Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation alpine skiers were among 55 athletes nominated May 11 for the 2023-24 U.S. Alpine Ski Team.

Newly named to the Development Team were Colin Hanna, 18, and Finnigan Donley, 18.

Dasha Romanov, 20, moved from D Team to the C Team, and Jack Smith, 22, returned to the Men’s C Team.
