This fall’s Sawtooth Clay Dusters has consisted of 18 Wood River Valley youth.

The team began the season with a Fall League, a month-long virtual competition with other Idaho trap clubs. The Clay Dusters placed second overall with a score of 353.

Recently, 10 Clay Dusters gathered at Burley Trap Club for a shoot with 50 other youth.  Max Albright was the highest varsity scorer for the team with 125 of 150 targets.

In the Junior Varsity division, Hayden Sisk was the highest Clay Duster scorer with 95 and rookie Jensen Pierre, scoring 106, won a third-place medal for his class.

A week later, the Clay Dusters competed on their home turf at Hurtig Shooting Center between Ketchum and Hailey.

 Rookies Jensen Pierre and Briggs Forelli won first- and second-place medals with scores of 79 and 58, respectively, out of 125 targets.

Hayden Sisk won a first place medal with a score of 86 for the JV division. Max Albright placed third in the Varsity division, scoring 107.

The local team will wrap up its fall season with two shoots at Jerome in November.
