Minico High School’s Brey Yore scored the fastest tie down roping ride Tuesday on the first night of the Hailey Days of the Old West Rodeo. Yore was one of 11 contestants. He became the tie down rodeo leader with an 8.7-second time, ahead of Filer’s Dex Maddock (9.5). Yore was the Idaho District 6 high school rodeo all-around champion in 2018, and he’s headed to the 2019 National High School Rodeo Finals in Rock Springs, Wyo. during July as the Idaho state runner-up in cow cutting.
