    The 2015 Homecoming royalty candidates have been announced for the big week of events at Hailey’s Wood River High School.

    Special school activities continue through the Homecoming football game against the Kimberly Bulldogs Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at Hailey’s Phil Homer Field. General admission is $5.

    Here are the candidates for the 2015 Homecoming royalty at Wood River High.

    Princes and princesses will be elected in each class, as well as the queen and king from the senior class:

    Senior girls: Lainey Anderson, Zoe Gibson, Galena Hansen, Grace Kotara and Megan Sfingi.

    Senior boys: Kagen Albright, Brady Delgadillo, Nelson Cantrell, Nicolas Gerhardt and Gunner Gibson.

    Junior girls: Jesse Cole, Malila Freeman, Tess Hollister and Julia Larsen.

    Junior boys: Zabian Alvey, Owen Gifford, Kenneth Pratt and Travis Swanson.

    Sophomore girls: Stella Barsotti, Abigail Benson, Elisabeth Gorham and Sarah Truxal.

    Sophomore boys: Pablo Aguilar, Erik Baeza, Ike Buxton and Wyatt Parish.

    Freshman girls: Payton Bacca, Willa Beriker, Audra Mary and Jillian Palmer.

    Freshman boys: Isaac Loomis, Jakson Albright, Jovany Armenta and McGuire Moore.

    Here is the remaining Homecoming Week “Spirit Day” and activity schedule.

    Remember that “We Bleed Green” t-shirts will be available at the student store and at the game for $12:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 23: Dress-up “Wacky Wednesday.”

    Powderpuff football game 2 p.m. on Phil Homer field matching freshman/junior girls vs. sophomore/senior girls. Coaches are Wood River grid players and coaches.

    Girls’ soccer games against Minico Spartans at South Valley Sports Complex soccer field south of the high school and Community Campus, varsity 4:30 p.m. and JV 6:15 p.m.

  • Thursday, Sept. 24: Dress-up “Go Green Spirit Day.”
  • Friday, Sept. 25: Dress-up “Hawaiian Day”

    Homecoming Parade at 3 p.m. starting at Myrtle St. and proceeding down Main St. Barbecue tailgate next to the football field at 5 p.m. with three local food trucks selling food.

    The football game is at 7 p.m. against Kimberly including the announcement of the royalty at halftime.

    Homecoming dance after the game, until 11:30 p.m.
