The comment in the Miscellany II column concerning Broadford Road (“It is time to turn Broadford road into an expressway to bypass Woodside/school traffic”) is very misguided.
Broadford is a residential road that is used primarily (except for the increasing maniac drivers speeding along throwing their beer cans out) as a recreational road. It is a road for bikers, walkers, hikers and those who appreciate the serene beauty and hard-to-find peace of this valley.
This is a neighborhood. Take your expressway back to the metro area you obviously came from.
