I have joined an organization that I am passionate about, the Hailey Climate Action Coalition. We will be part of the Fourth of July parade for the first time and we would love to have you join us and show your patriotism and concern for the environment. You can come as is or dress up in red, white and blue or carry a catchy sign, on recycled material of course, that you feel would positively address solutions to combat global warming or a positive message about our country on its day of independence.

HCAC started with a small group of concerned individuals only weeks ago and has grown to around 50 people already. We have sparked the interest of many local organizations as well as our Hailey elected officials. We all can feel it, we all know that now is the time to start making a shift, so we avoid catastrophic planetwide impacts.

I am excited to be a part of this community organization that will continue to grow and have a significant impact on the health of our valley. It only takes a small shift from many to have a big impact. We are all acutely aware that it has to start now and begin locally. The valley residents are ready to “give a shift, make a shift, be the shift.” Please come join us—HCAC welcomes everyone
