The Company of Fools play “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley” is a true delight for the holidays.

Once again, we are so blessed to have such exquisite entertainment brought to us in such a lavish production with brilliant acting. Chris Carwithen is amazing, with a most subtle and believable performance that is worth watching just for his work with his character, as well as the rest of the stellar cast of characters, plus the gorgeous set and costumes, all topped by the creative direction of Scott Palmer. But most important, the script is the pure essence of “Jane Austen” through and through. It is a natural sequel to “Pride and Prejudice” that feels inevitable, as if she had written it herself.

Kudos to Company of Fools and Sun Valley Center for the Arts for having chosen this gift for our community. Thank you!
