They have done it again! One more incident showing the ineptitude of Fish and Game. Killing an elk in the middle of the day on a busy road is not just foolish, but could have been dangerous had the officer missed.

If a Fish and Game agent carries a gun with him, he should have the IQ to know when not to use it. Why would they not carry tranquilizers in addition to carrying a gun? It seems obvious their first line of confrontation is to kill.

Josh Royse of Fish and Game stated that the officer at the scene observed the elk in poor body condition but consistent with late winter. Royse also stated they would never harm an animal just because of delaying traffic. However, the Fish & Game officer proceeded to do just that.
