No matter what your political persuasion or party affiliation, I urge you to take a close look at Kamala Harris, who she is as a person and politician. She has recently written a book titled “The Truths We Hold.” If you don’t want to read the book, look Kamala up on the internet.
Briefly, Kamala Harris graduated from Howard University and then earned a law degree from the University of California Hastings. Both her parents have earned Ph.D.s; her father is a full professor at Stanford and her mother was a leading researcher on breast cancer, which partially explains Kamala’s brilliance. She has been the district attorney of San Francisco and the attorney general of California, and in 2016 was elected a U.S. senator from California. Her basic philosophy could be summed up as “always seek and tell the truth,” not such a common trait in politicians.
Most people I’ve talked with say she can never be elected because she’s a woman and she’s black. There’s a new book out, not by her, titled “Why Kamala Harris Will Win the Democratic Presidential Primary.” If she wins the primary, she would surely trounce Trump.
