Robert Edwards Husband passed away Aug. 14, 2019, in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the age of 61.

He was born Dec. 19, 1957, in San Francisco, Calif., as the only child of Robert S. Husband and Audrey Shoen Edwards Husband.

Rob graduated from high school in Petaluma, Calif., and earned a maritime degree in Piney Point, Md. His time as a seaman took him to Portugal, but Rob quickly returned to those he loved in California and began his career as a carpenter. In 1980, Rob wed his junior high sweetheart, Cynthia Schalch Husband. They were married 31 years and had four children, Sherilyn (David) Haskin, Lauren (Matthew) Patterson, Daniel (Nayeli) Husband and Dianne Husband. Two grandsons are Joshua and Brennan Haskin.

The Husband family of four moved to Idaho in 1989, then became a family of six. Rob continued his career as a carpenter and produced excellent custom finish work in the Wood River Valley. He was faithful in attending his children’s sporting events in baseball, soccer and swim team. Rob’s love for the water continued. Taking the speedboat to Redfish or Alturas and river rafting were his favorite pastimes. He also loved long drives. This served him well since in his later years Rob became a truck driver and traveled much of the country.

Because Rob always returned to Idaho, a small portion of his remains will be scattered over Idaho waters by his children. His ashes will be laid to rest with his parents in Petaluma. His soul has gone to be with his Lord Jesus where he is free.
