Carmen June Stewart passed away at her home in Carey, Idaho, on Sept. 3, 2019, at the age of 85.
Carmen was born April 26, 1934, to Preston and Nellie Pyrah in Carey, Idaho. She married Morris G. Stewart on Aug. 12, 1954, who preceded her in death in February 2015.
Carmen touched the lives of many through her selfless acts of kindness, always putting others first.
Carmen is survived by her children, Jim (Cheri), Diane Hull, Perry (Lana), June Thelin (John), Rick (Michelle), Marie (Mark Crofts), Dixee, Julie and Paul (Raquel); 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Grant Pyrah and Ted Pyrah; and sister, Margaret Ward.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13, at the Carey Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with visitation from 2-3 p.m. Interment will follow in the Carey Cemetery.
