3 p.m. Update: The fire has been contained and fire managers will remain on scene "mopping up," according to the Blaine County Sheriff's Office.
A fire that initially began as a controlled burn has now evolved into a wildfire, according to the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire is threatening at least one structure and has been reported near a residence on Silverwood Drive off Glendale Road south of Bellevue, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office at 12:50 p.m.
As of 1:20 p.m. the fire had burned about 15 acres and was making its way north. Multiple agencies were reported to be on scene.
