The Sun Valley Marketing Alliance announced Sunday that Olin Glenne has decided to step down as chairman of the Visit Sun Valley board of directors.
In his leadership role, Glenne—owner of Sturtevants ski shops in Ketchum and Hailey—helped strengthen the connection between Visit Sun Valley and local business leaders, a release from the alliance stated. Glenne will remain on the board as the Ketchum city representative.
Both Diann Craven and Candice Pate have been named co-chairs of the Visit Sun Valley board, and Mike Burchmore is also joining the board as a new Sun Valley city representative.
Craven has worked with many startup companies, mid-size businesses and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and globally, the release stated. Locally, Craven sits on the newly formed Wood River Valley Tourism Coalition.
According to the alliance, Pate was previously interim chief marketing officer at Visit Sun Valley and currently directs the Sun Valley Film Festival.
Burchmore, like Craven and Pate, has also served on various local committees—some of which include the Blaine County Education Foundation, Nurture Idaho and the Blaine County Recreation District.
