Community members are invited to attend “Science Pub: Saving Baldy’s Forest: Restoring an Icon of the Wood River Valley,” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Sawtooth Brewery in Ketchum.

     Staffers from the Idaho Conservation League and the Forest Service will be discussing the challenges and opportunities with forest health on Bald Mountain. Idaho Conversation League Conservation Associate Josh Johnson and Ketchum Ranger District Recreation Manager Zach Poff will discuss the state of Baldy’s forests and new efforts to address declining health of the forest, according to the Idaho Conservation League.
