February 2019 is officially one for the books.

As of 8:30 a.m. Thursday—the last day of February—the total snowfall on Sun Valley’s Bald Mountain hit 135 inches, making it the snowiest calendar month since the resort began keeping records in 1967-68, according to spokeswoman Kelli Lusk.

That brought the year-to-date total up to 205.5 inches for the 2018-19 season, gaining on the 220 inches Baldy averages in a given year.

Even with the mammoth month, this season is still chasing the “Snowpocalypse” of 2016-17, which dropped a total of 318 inches by that season’s end.
