Safe Haven CEO and President Scott Burpee said today that the bidding process for the Bellevue nursing and assisted living facilities was concluded on Monday and resulted in a successful bid by Cascadia Services. The facility will remain open and operational with all current staff and administration staying on through the transition, according to Burpee.
“It’s a legitimate, acceptable bid,” Burpee said over the phone Tuesday.
The sale is scheduled to close sometime near the end of the year, and a hearing is scheduled for Oct. 23 to go over the documents of the sale that the nursing facility’s biggest creditor, Citizens Community Bank, has agreed to, according to Burpee.
“I’m excited about it because we’re handing it off and keeping it open,” Burpee said.
Cascadia Services owns several nursing care facilities throughout Idaho, Montana and Oregon.
