Following a successful inaugural winter and spring, Ketchum’s new Argyros Performing Arts Center now looks toward summer performances.
The Argyros has just opened ticket sales for its first confirmed summer concert, American blues group the Robert Cray Band.
According to the Argyros, Cray is among the world’s leading forces in blues music. He has five Grammy Awards to his name, has released 20 studio albums and has shared the stage with such artists as Eric Clapton, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Mixing soulful vocals, narrative lyrics, soaring guitar solos and supple grooves, Cray’s musicality has helped push the genre forward, influencing countless aspiring blues musicians over the past four decades, the organization stated.
Cray and his band will bring their inimitable talents to Ketchum on Tuesday, July 9, for a concert at 7:30 p.m.
As of today, April 17, early-access tickets are now on sale for Argyros newsletter subscribers and loyal customers. Tickets will be released for the general public on Friday, April 19.
