The Idaho Community Foundation will host “More Than Money: Investing for Good,” on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. at the Limelight Hotel, at 151 S. Main St. in Ketchum.
The event will offer an opportunity for professional advisors, charitable individuals and others to learn the basics of impact investing and explore the various strategies and instruments used. Impact investments are those that seek financial return in addition to beneficial social and/or environmental impact.
Rosalie Sheehy Cates, senior advisor for The Giving Practice and an impact investing catalyst fellow, will moderate a panel that includes:
- ·Todd A. Feld, senior relationship manager for The Vanguard Group.
- ·Dutch Haarsma, president of the Idaho-Nevada Community Development Financial Institution.
- ·Beata Kirr, head of core asset strategies for Bernstein Private Wealth Management.
Bernstein Private Wealth Management will host a reception at the hotel following the forum.
Both the forum and the reception are free, but space is limited, and RSVPs are requested to ensure enough seating.
