St. Luke’s Wood River celebrated its first baby born in 2020 on Jan. 4 at 9:50 a.m.

Logan Kai Shelamer was born 8 pounds, 15 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Logan was given a special gift basket from the St. Luke’s Wood River Volunteer Board, along with a St. Luke’s onesie and a receiving blanket that each new baby at the hospital receives.

Amanda and Mike Shelamer said all four of their babies have been born on Saturdays and that Logan’s siblings, two sisters and one brother, are all excited about the addition to the family.
