On Tuesday, May 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Sage School students and the Environmental Resource Center will hold a free educational event that highlights sage grouse, a magnificent local bird species. It will be held at the Wood River Sustainability Center, 308 So. River Street, Hailey.

U.S. Forest Service Wildlife Biologist David Skinner will facilitate a discussion about sage grouse biology, their population and habitat.      A stunning photography collection, “A Morning in the Lek” by local photographer Ernie Patricelli, will be on display. The event is open to the public and family-friendly. There will be complimentary appetizers provided by WRSC and beer and wine for purchase. This event is sponsored by WOW-Students.
