The Hailey City Council approved a preliminary plat Monday for the InnTrusted subdivision at the site of a 74-room Marriott hotel currently under construction at 711 N. Main St.

The approval allows development group Hailey FF to subdivide the Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriott hotel from a separate smaller parcel that will provide a site for five townhomes on River Street. The approval also allows for the sale of the approved three-story, three-bedroom townhomes.

Chris Street of MLE engineers said the only changes to an already approved development plan for the combined 1.85-acre property between Main and River streets will be reconfiguration of a bus stop on Main Street from 15-by-18 to 10-by-20 square feet, to accommodate Mountain Rides.

The 42,400-square-foot hotel will feature an indoor pool, fitness room, breakfast and dining room, and a bar, which will be open to the public.

The five 2,186-square-foot, three-story townhomes on River Street are expected to sell for about $400,000, said InnTrusted developer David Adams, who attended the City Council meeting remotely by telephone.

Architect Errin Bliss said the $7.5 million hotel project and condominiums are scheduled for completion in the fall.
