With the Fourth of July falling on a Thursday this year, the Wood River Farmers’ Market is changing the date of its market in Hailey to Saturday this week.
The market will be open on Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lot behind Sturtos, according to a news release.
The event will feature vendors from the Hailey as well as Ketchum markets, in addition to some guest vendors.
The Saturday market will offer freshly grilled local hamburgers, veggies, arts and crafts, a raffle, children’s activities and games, fruits and baked goods.
“I am excited that we are having this special holiday weekend market,” board President Katie Zubia said in the news release. “It’ll be a fun day and a great trial to see how an early Saturday market would work in our valley.”
