An open house to learn more about a proposed affordable-housing subdivision in Camas County has been delayed a week.
The open house was scheduled to be held on July 2, but will now be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 6 p.m. at the Community Campus in Hailey.
The Camas Creek subdivision has 31 lots in its first phase of development. The intent is to build three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes with two-car garages, said George Maurtua, a real estate advisor with Engel & Völkers Sun Valley. The prices start at $210,000.
The subdivision is on the south side of U.S. Highway 20 at Princess Mine Road.
Maurtua said the open house date has changed to offer more residents an opportunity to attend, because the week of the Fourth of July is typically one of the busiest in the Wood River Valley.
