Community members are invited to the Environmental Resource Center on Saturday, Jan. 18, to join longtime Wood River Valley resident Ann Christensen for the center’s second Winter Tracking workshop of the season.

The three-hour walk will begin at 11 a.m. at the ERC Office, 471 Washington Ave. in Ketchum, and will introduce attendees to native wildlife and their winter adaptions. Guests will then partake on a snowshoe-tracking adventure through the meadows and wooded areas north of Ketchum.

Novice trackers are welcome, and all participants are asked to bring snowshoes, warm clothes and water. The event is free to the public with a suggested donation of $10; those interested can register by calling 208-726-4333 or emailing alisa@ercsv.org.

The final ERC Winter Tracking workshop will be Feb. 15.
