The Knob Hill Inn and Grill closed temporarily earlier this week due a water leak in the basement of the property.
The hotel plans to relocate guests through at least Sunday, Jan. 27, because the water line had to be shut off so plumbers could fix the leak, according to hotel spokesman Hamilton McCulloh.
The leak was discovered in the basement on Jan. 15. The damage was contained to a portion of the basement that includes a conference room, public restrooms, laundry and storage, and did not damage any of the hotel’s guest rooms or lobby or The Grill restaurant, McCulloh wrote.
“Our hope is to be back on line in a week,” McCulloh wrote Monday. “We will provide regular updates on social media. We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your patience. We look forward to being fully operational in the very near future and hosting and service our guests again soon.”
