Managing Broker Dan Gorham has purchased the Windermere Real Estate offices in Ketchum and Hailey.
Gorham has been the managing broker for those offices for the past 18 years, and is a past president of the Sun Valley Board of Realtors.
The purchase of the two offices closed last week, according to a news release. Terms were not disclosed.
“I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to be able to buy the offices in Ketchum and Hailey,” Gorham said. “Local ownership means we will be able to continue serving the residents and visitors of the Wood River Valley with the historic knowledge that is critical to making good real estate investments.”
Gorham purchased the offices from former owners Greg Hoff, Terry Vehrs and Renee Sayatovic.
“We felt the time was right for a change and we are delighted that we were able to transfer ownership to our longtime manager,” the group said in a statement.
Gorham said the improved economy makes it an exciting time in local real estate.
“I am also looking forward to growing the offices as we see economic expansion being experienced in Ketchum and Hailey, and the media attention Sun Valley has been receiving as a world-class resort.”
Windermere has offices on Main Street in Ketchum and on Main Street in Hailey. The company employs 30 agents who sell commercial and residential real estate properties. No staffing changes will result from the change in ownership, according to the news release.
