Skiers and riders have more than a month left to slide into spring at Sun Valley.
On Monday, the resort announced plans to keep Bald Mountain open through Easter Sunday, April 21.
That’s when the resort plans to close the Warm Springs base area to wrap up the 2018-19 ski season, spokeswoman Kelli Lusk told the Idaho Mountain Express. Right now, River Run will stop on Sunday, April 7, and Dollar will end with Dollar Dayz and the annual pond skim on Sunday, March 31.
All dates are weather dependent, Lusk said. As of Monday, the resort didn’t know if it will keep the mountain open during the week leading up to the Warm Springs’ closing weekend.
“That one is still undetermined,” Lusk said. “We will know as we get closer to that weekend.”
