The Community Library in Ketchum is hosting free weekly English classes on Tuesdays, 6-8 p.m., and French classes on Thursdays, 2-3 p.m.
The English as a Second Language for Adults series will run every Tuesday until March 18 and is led by instructors Janet Ross-Heiner, M.A. Ed-ESL, and Karen Little, MAT. The classes are open to anyone who wishes to improve their English skills.
The library’s Conversational French series invites all levels of French speakers to practice their conversational skills and learn more about French cuisine and culture in a relaxed environment. Classes are led by Christine Carney Demment, who holds an undergraduate degree in French, and will run every Thursday until Feb. 13. Drop-ins are welcome.
