The Chamber—Hailey and the Wood River Valley has hired Mike McKenna to serve as executive director. McKenna will replace Mary Austin Crofts, who stepped down from the position last month.

Chamber President Todd Hunter said McKenna was chosen after “careful consideration” of all qualified candidates and with the full support of the Chamber board.

“Mike is a known and respected member of our great valley and has extensive nonprofit experience. He has been an invaluable contributor and planner for Chamber events and his experience and proficiency will allow us to maintain our momentum from 2018 while strategically executing our future valley-wide vision,” Hunter stated in an email.

McKenna will be leaving a position at the Wood River Land Trust, where he served as community engagement coordinator.
