The Blaine County Recreation District’s Nordic season is on a record pace, according to Executive Director Jim Keating.

Season pass sales are up 2 to 3 percent over last year’s high-water mark, and Keating called that a “conservative estimate.” He’ll have a more complete count later in the season, when day passes—typically sold on-site or through retailers—add to the tally.

BCRD’s Nordic program is riding a multi-year hot streak into 2020: Each of the past two seasons has broken records for skier days on its 160 kilometers of groomed trails.
