The American Red Cross is urging residents to donate blood and platelets, as it works to support those impacted by Hurricane Dorian. The organization is encouraging those not affected by the hurricane to help by giving blood or platelets to help those in the storm’s path and around the country.

Sept. 12, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.
Sept. 18, 1-5:30 p.m., The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Historic Turf Club.
Sept. 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CSI Health Science & Human Services.
Sept. 19, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Golden Years Senior Center
Sept. 26, 1-6:30 p.m., The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sept. 27, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition, financial donations are also being accepted and can be made by visiting redress.org, calling 1-800-REDCROSS, or by texting the word DORIAN to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
