The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting lab results after a two-vehicle, head-on collision early Monday morning left two vehicles damaged and one driver sent to St. Luke’s Wood River hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Corban James Napualani McBride, 25, of Hailey, was driving southbound on state Highway 75 north of East Fork Road, in a white 2013 Dodge Avenger, when he collided head on with an Idaho Department of Transportation 2015 Mach snowplow being driven northbound by 25-year-old Benjamin D. Daniels, of Hailey.

Both trucks sustained damages and McBride was transported to the hospital for injuries. According to Joy Prudek, spokeswoman for St. Luke’s Wood River, McBride was transferred to St. Alphonsus hospital in Boise. As of Tuesday, McBride is in serious condition at St. Alphonsus.

The Sheriff’s Office ordered that blood-alcohol tests be conducted on McBride.
