In response to nation-wide and community events, The Community Library seeks to advance a dialogue around race, equity, inclusion, and understanding. We are choosing to do this through the lens of poetry, specifically the poetry of Americans of color. Each Wednesday, from June 17 to July 15, we will gather to read a poem together and discuss its challenges and inspirations to how we understand our society and our world. Library staff and guests will lead each discussion, beginning with a reading of the selected poem. Register at www.comlib.org.
