A non-intimidating class for beginners and up. Saturday’s classroom will be held at the Hailey Classroom where we’ll learn about bird and wildflower anatomy and how to draw simple sketches of each. Starting with drawing from a slide presentation, we will venture outside into the gardens on the property to sketch.

Sunday’s class will meet at the Hailey classroom and carpool to beautiful Centennial Marsh and sketch the amazing birds and flowers that nest and bloom there. Please bring a small sketchbook, pencil and colored pencils for both classes. On Sunday you’ll also need to bring lunch, water, a hat and sunscreen. A stool and binoculars will also help if you have them.

Nature and wildlife are at the center of Poo Wright-Pulliam’s life. Therefore her art is inspired by nature, especially birds, which are her passion. Her mediums are pencil, ink and watercolors. She has won numerous awards for her art and also has been selected to be the Artist-in- Residence for Craters of the Moon National Monument, and City of the Rocks national Reserve.
