Despite public health initiatives and movements to fight the obesity epidemic, obesity has not gone away.  What has been left in the wake of this “fight” is food and body preoccupation, self-hatred, eating disorders, body stigma, and discrimination.  Sarah Seppa, registered dietitian, will take you on a deep dive into the research on the “Health at Every Size” movement, which looks at supporting people of all sizes in addressing health directly by adopting healthy behaviors through respect, critical awareness, and compassionate self-care.
