The annual DockDogs competition is back. On Friday, July 5, at 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., dogs and their humans will convene in Ketchum’s Forest Service Park for the event.
DockDogs is essentially a jumping competition. Participating canines run down a platform and leap into a pool, earning points for height and distance. Prizes go to the best jumpers.
The event has plenty to offer for spectators as well. In addition to watching dogs bound into water, attendees can enjoy local food and drink vendors, and live music by Tylor & the Train Robbers on Saturday after the finals.
