The Idaho Conservation League is taking to the Sawtooth Brewery Public House—631 Warm Springs Road in Ketchum—next Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 6-8 p.m. for a Science Pub session.
Over dinner and drinks, ICL conservation associate Josh Johnson and Ketchum Ranger District Recreation Manager Zach Poff will speak on the theme of “Saving Baldy’s Forests: Restoring an icon of the Wood River Valley.”
The forests on Bald Mountain suffer numerous threats and pests. As their health declines, groups like the ICL are mobilizing to help. As Johnson and Poff will illuminate, the general public will have several opportunities to join community initiatives and help save the beloved mountain.
Stop by the brewery on Wednesday and visit idahoconservation.org for more details.
