As snow begins to blanket the valley, the Sun Valley Opera has confirmed its full winter 2019-20 lineup, with six events on the docket between December and March.

First up is the annual Holiday Soirée, a black-tie optional gala at The Argyros with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a special performance by Broadway star Nathaniel Hackmann.

Among the many highlights of Hackmann’s career to date are roles as both Jean Valjean and Javert in “Les Misérables,” as well as the title roles in “Jekyll and Hyde” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

In January, the Opera will welcome Zachary James and Melody Wilson for a concert on Jan. 27 and Judith McQueen and the Alan Pennay trio on Jan. 30.

The Opera has booked “Hamilton” star Bryan Terrell Clark for a double bill the following month. He will perform in a private home at a Diva Party on Feb. 15 and in a public concert at the Sun Valley Opera House on Feb. 16.

Then, rounding out the season, the Opera will host Chrystal E. Williams for a Signature Salon concert on March 9.

Tickets for all of those concerts are now available online at
