The Sun Valley Community School’s second-grade class will host a free movie screening to benefit Blaine County Recreation District as part of the class’s participation in Wow: The Generosity Project.

The movie, “The Lorax,” will be shown on Wednesday, May 1, at 3 p.m. (doors open at 2:45 p.m.) in the school’s theater and is open to the public. This is the seventh year that the second grade has hosted a movie screening to raise funds for their Wow Project.

The film is rated PG—judged appropriate for ages 5 and up by Common Sense Media—and runs for about an hour and a half. Students will sell popcorn and water with proceeds benefiting BCRD, and donations will be gladly accepted.
