Earlier in the summer, The Community Library screened a film called “Bite Me,” a new romantic comedy about an underground community of vampires and the insurance agent who audits them.
Writer/actress Naomi McDougall Jones presented that film in person and will return to the library this week for a screening of her first film, “Imagine I’m Beautiful.”
The independent drama debuted to widespread acclaim on the festival circuit and claimed a number of awards at various indie festivals, including four Best Picture and three Best Actress awards.
The screening is presented to the public free of charge, and Jones will be present afterward for a discussion with the audience. “Imagine I’m Beautiful” will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. Visit comlib.org for details.
