Parents and caregivers can engage with their children through a series of “looking” activities and age-appropriate messy fun art projects for ages 1-5. This free event is offered the second Thursday of every month at The Center in Ketchum beginning on Jan. 9.

“Our goal is to engage young families and connect them to the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, where they can learn and have fun together through playful art experiences,” teacher and Visual Arts Education Program Coordinator Susie Quinn Fortner said in a press release announcing the free events.

In addition, The Center will host three free Family Day events over the year. These events, associated with The Center’s Big Idea projects, allow opportunities for different generations to explore art and share ideas together.
