The city of Ketchum has issued a call for submissions of proposals for an outdoor sculpture for the Fourth Street Heritage Corridor.
Professional artists, architects and designers are invited to submit applications to erect a long-term sculptural installation to be displayed on an outdoor pedestal.
A jury will review submissions and select up to three semifinalists to submit formal proposals for the new work, doling out a stipend of $250 to each. The successful finalist will receive a budget of $29,000 to build and install the sculpture by July 2020.
Applications are due by Friday, Dec. 6. Details of the submission process can be found online at ketchumidaho.org/arts.
