Local actress Claudia McCain and Hilarie Neely, director of the Footlight Dance Centre, have joined forces to present a community arts meeting dubbed “Arts and Culture’s Growth in the Wood River Valley.”

The event will bring together members from the valley’s diverse arts scene, as well as a representative from the Idaho Commission on the Arts.

The objective of the meeting is to discuss the next few years, planning out, to a certain extent, the future of the ever-developing role of the arts in the Wood River community.

This is a free event, and is open to the public. The meeting will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Lecture Hall of The Community Library in Ketchum.
