For the fourth year in a row, Ketchum’s Board Bin will close off its section of Fourth Street for a fun-filled block party featuring live music, art, auctions, prizes and the popular dual slalom skateboard race. This event will last from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Board Bin will auction off “creating for skating” skateboards—richly decorated and artistic boards of various sizes and styles.

Artists who want to take part in the creation of such boards can stop in at the Board Bin—180 Fourth St. E.—and pick out a blank board to work on. This requires a $20 deposit, which will be returned upon completion of the project.

The party is free to attend. Registration for the dual slalom race is open from 2-4 p.m. and requires a $20 entry fee, which will also procure a T-shirt.

All proceeds from the auction and the party will be donated to benefit the Guy Coles Skatepark on Warm Springs Road in Ketchum.
