The ski season is just around the corner, with Baldy set to open before the end of the month.
After that bitter cold spell in October, November’s temperatures have been hovering comfortably in the 40s and 50s. While light-jacket weather appeals to many, the lack of snow is a little unsettling to some in the ski community.
With that in mind, the Sun Valley Resort is bringing back the Après for Snow Party on Friday, Nov. 22, at 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend this free event at the River Run Lodge in Ketchum. Attendees will enjoy drink specials, live music, prizes, a ski pass raffle and costume contest and will clasp their hands together to pray for snow.
During the party, the lodge will be accepting nonperishable donations on behalf of The Hunger Coalition. Those who donate will receive one raffle ticket for every five nonperishable items they give.
