Sun Valley bumps regular-season ticket prices $5

Compared to last year, skiers and snowboarders will pay $5 more for a day on Bald Mountain during peak season.

Sun Valley Company announced its one-day adult lift ticket price, which for Baldy is $85 in peak season—Dec. 26 to Jan. 2—and for Dollar Mountain is $42.

In recent history, the price has increased year to year with each bump usually being larger than the previous year's. A peak-season day pass for Baldy cost $66 in 2004, $67 in 2005, $69 in 2006, $74 in 2007, $79 in 2008, and $80 in 2009.

Full-day adult lift ticket prices

Value Season—opening day to Dec. 13 and March 30 to the end of season—Bald Mountain $56 and Dollar Mountain $30.

Regular Season—Dec. 14 to 25 and Jan. 3 to March 29—Bald Mountain $82 and Dollar Mountain $40.

Peak Season—Dec. 26 to Jan. 2—Bald Mountain $85 and Dollar Mountain $42.
