Determined to post its first win, Casino ripped out 14 hits for 11 runs in the first three frames sparked by Craig "Rusty" Morse (4 hits, 2 doubles, triple, HR, 4 runs). Casino (22 hits): Jeff Gaelene 4 hits (double) and 2 runs, Mike Torres 3 hits and 2 runs, Dustin Freight double, triple and 2 runs, Koree Hawkes 3 hits, plus 2 hits each by Lisa Vadalma, Brenda Johnson and Tom Romano. KECH (17 hits): Heather Linhart 3-run HR, Lisa Carlson 2 hits and 2 runs, Rod Watson 3 hits (2 douibles), Danny Maloney 2 hits (double).

Firefighters 10, Elevate 7

John Rathfon (4 hits, HR, 3 runs) belted an RBI double in a 4-run Firefighters first. After Elevate rallied for a 4-4 tie in the third, the winners added 2 runs in the home third on leadoff hits by Karly Maratea and Rathfon followed by a Keith Potter sacrifice fly, Tina Carnes single and Tyler Corrock double. Still, Firefighters needed to hold off a 2-run, 6-hit Elevate rally in the seventh for their victory. Firefighters: Matt Christian 3 hits (triple) and 2 runs, Sue Mulcahy 2 hits. Elevate: Cooper Minnis 3 hits (HR) and 3 runs, Matt Siegel 4 hits (2 doubles), Jeff Rust 2 hits, Dirk Zondag 2 hits (triple), Kayt Vandenberger 2 hits.

Main St. busted out to a 10-0 lead after three and didn't look back. KECH pushed across 2 runs in the home sixth to slip away with the win in a close contest. KECH: Rod Watson inside-the-park HR, Shannon Flavin 2 hits, Nelson Drewien double, Lisa Carlson RBI single. Bioscience: Levi Perryman 3 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Amber Marsh and Kevin Jones 2 hits each.
