Father's Day fish-o-rama at Riverside Pond
The Wood River Land Trust and Idaho Department of Fish and Game stocked the newly reclaimed Riverside Pond in Heagle Park with around 450 trout perfect for Father's Day, Sunday, June 17.
A license is required for 14 and older, just head to the park in the Della View subdivision with a pole, a net and an ice chest for your catch. The entrance to the pond is on the left before the tennis courts.
In 2003, the Land Trust excavated and restored the old riverside wastewater treatment facility in Hailey and turned it into a vibrant wetland with native shrubs, trees, sedges, grasses and wildlife.
